Studio Closures

With winter fast approaching we find ourselves having to make the decision of studio closures. These decisions will be made by approximately 1pm on the day off and will be posted both here and on our answering machine. We will notify the parent reps as soon as we know so that everyone will hopefully be contacted!

Costumes

Tis the time of year when our costume orders are now starting to come in. Please check your emails to see if your invoice has been done for your costume. All costume balances must be paid IN FULL before you can take your costumes home with you. You have paid a “deposit only” at this time, and these invoices reflect your final balances. If accessories or group makeup, etc is required, the PARENT REP will be working with the teachers to finalize these items, and the cost will be split equally amongst the group. These are not reflected in your invoices at this time.

We have done our best to measure your little dancers and order the CLOSEST FITTING costume that matches their measurements. Because catalogue orders are not fit to order, some adjustments may need to be made. These are the responsibility of each parent/dancer. You can ask our reception desk to recommend our seamstress. You’ll want to book a seamstress’ as soon as possible, if they do not fit correctly.  Costumes come in small, medium, large, etc and set sizes, just like at the mall. When ordering, we have to go with the “largest” measurement to ensure that the costume will fit, and will only need to be taken in or hemmed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however, it is still much cheaper than our former method of hiring a seamstress to sew all of our studio costumes which range in price starting from $100 for basic attire, to much much more.

Please ask your teachers to let you know your other items needed such as:

-tights
-hair
-socks
-shoe accessories
-jewelery
-makeup
etc.

This is a very VERY exciting time for the dancers!! It’s almost better than Christmas day:) We hope you enjoy your 2012 costumes!!!

Competitions

We start competing in February 2012 and would like everyone to know that as of now all we have a general dates. We do not receive the exact dates and times of dances till approximately 2 – 4 weeks prior to each competition. For a full list of competitions being attended please click here!
