FIONA KIM
B.F.A, R.A.D RTS, A.I.S.T.D
Fiona Kim is a Registered R.A.D. RTS (Royal Academy of Dance) teacher and Associate member with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (National Dance). Fiona is a graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) – Teacher Training Program. Additionally, Fiona Kim is a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Dance). With her extensive education and training, Fiona has been exposed to many dance forms including Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, and National.
She attended supplemental training at New York University (NYU) Summer Dance Festival and studied with David Dorfman, Gina Gibney, Keigwin, Sean Curran, Ellis Wood, and Ronald K. Brown. Fiona has served as a teacher/choreographer of dance, ballet and National for ‘All In The Dance Program’, Toronto, Ontario, as well as Elevation Dance Centre, Toronto, where she prepared students for their R.A.D. exams. During her studies Fiona assisted teaching and periodically substituted for teacher’s at Canada’s National Ballet School, for their Associate programs. Fiona has choreographed both original works and has restaged choreography on students, preparing them for performances.
