LYRICAL

 

Lyrical is interpretive movements and body expressions using both jazz and ballet techniques and styles. A variety of footwear could be worn: black jazz oxfords, beige oxfords, and/or foot undies. Please ask your instructor about desired footwear.

 

 

Recreational

Ages 9-adult

  • 1 hr class

  • no pre-requisites

  • recital

  • costume deposit required

 

 

Competitive

 

Ages 9+  (Jr./Interm Level)

Junior

  • 1.0 hr class

  • 4 competitions

  • min. age 8 years

  • must take a min. of 2 ballet classes/week and 1 hr of jazz or jazz tech/week (min Grade 2 Ballet)

Intermediate

  • 1.5 hrs class

  • Must be in a level of Grade 4 ballet or highter and taking 2 classes per week

  • Jazz technique is required

  • *Int/advanced dancers have this course combined with jazz class*
